Meet the couple
Pst. Filipe & FageeGomes
Pioneering The Potter’s House Dundee
Pastor Filipe and Fagee Gomes have been sent from The Potter’s House in Erdington, Birmingham, to preach the gospel, make disciples and plant a new church in Dundee.
They are starting the way every church starts: small, around an open Bible, with people who want to know God. Whether you are new to the city, new to faith, or have been away from church for a while, they would love to meet you.
As we grow
This is just
the beginning.
There is no building yet and no Sunday service. There is a Wednesday evening, an open Bible and a couple sent to preach the gospel to this city. Here is what we are praying for.
- 01First
Wednesday evenings
Fellowship, a 15-minute Bible study and food after, every Wednesday at 7pm once we arrive. Sharing the gospel around a table: the start of everything else.
- 02Next
Sunday gatherings
As the group grows, we will begin meeting on Sundays to worship, preach the gospel, baptise new believers and share the Lord’s Supper.
- 03In time
A church that sends
A home in the city, and a church that plants churches: sending people out to start the next one, as Erdington sent us.
Be part of it from the start
Every church
starts small.
Come along on a Wednesday, ask a question, or just say hello. Every church starts with a few people. We would love you to be one of them.
